This is a great book - with some small shortcomings, however. Examples are the Greek wine regions Amyndio and Goumenissa, which are not covered (on the other hand, the grape varieties Thrapsatiri and Mavrotragano have been added in the meantime). The best German wine producers are also not mentioned although Jancis Robinsons has praised their wines on many occasions. On the other hand, there is a lengthy entry on Kendall Jackson. Kendall Jackson may be an important brand in the US, but to me this is an example of uneven coverage of producers from different countries. These are minor things. On the whole, this is a very good book and the new edition arrived just in time before christmas.

All you want to know about wines, grapes, terroir, wine regions! Very informative and detailed source of information. A must have for all wine freaks! :-)
